In a recent interview on the Kelly Clarkson Show, actress Isla Fisher reminisced about her first concert experience and revealed how she committed fraud with her brothers to gain entry to a Red Hot Chili Peppers performance. When questioned about her first concert, the actress recounted the event and explained:

“I did. I think, oh gosh, my first concert was Red Hot. Oh, my first concert, Red Hot Chili Peppers. But obviously, we couldn’t afford a ticket, so, and I have two brothers so… So we basically managed to get one ticket and my brother was really clever, so he went in first, and then he kind of like showed his ticket, and then he went to kind of the top tier of the auditorium. Tied his ticket to his shoe. Chucked his shoe over the fence. I caught the shoe. I got the ticket, I went through, I tied it to the shoe, and then my brother, Eddie, came in.”

It seems that the Red Hot Chili Peppers was not the first concert she went to and admired. Another band also brought her immense joy, which she described as a ‘dream come true.’ Fisher mentioned this in the same interview:

“I also went to Metallica, which was amazing. I mean, Metallica’s a dream come true too. I love Metallica.”

When Clarkson mentioned covering a Metallica song with the actress, Fisher approved and said:

“Yeah, oh my gosh, you should. You should do ‘Sad But True,’ your voice would be amazing.”
