Iron Maiden Members Regret To Announce That ‘Legacy Of The Beast Tour’ Is Postponed To 2022

Iron Maiden made an official statement on their official Instagram account and revealed the fate of their Legacy Of The Beast World Tour in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, many artists and bands had to cancel or postpone their shows and tours around the world. Even though they shared their new concert dates for 2021, now most of them had to postpone once again since the pandemic is still affecting the world deeply.

Iron Maiden started Legacy Of The Beast World Tour back in 2018 after the success of their comic and mobile game that released in 2017, but it couldn’t resume last year due to the coronavirus outbreak. The band was ready to be on the stage this summer, but the coronavirus outbreak is still continuing. As every other band announced the postponement one by one, Iron Maiden also revealed the new dates for the tour.

While the band was saying that the European leg of this tour will take place in summer 2022, they also mentioned that they are finalizing further shows for the tour and will announce the dates as soon as possible.

Here is the official announcement from Iron Maiden:

“We regret to announce that the 2021 June & July dates on the LOTB Tour have been postponed due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic restrictions on global live events and travel. The tour will now take place in summer 2022. All tickets remain valid.”
