Iron Maiden’s official website revealed the special nature of the ‘Run For Your Lives’ Tour. The tour commemorates 50 years since Steve Harris formed the band in 1975. The setlist spans nine studio albums, ranging from their self-titled debut to ‘Fear Of The Dark’.
The opening night at Budapest Aréna created lasting memories for longtime fans. Ultimate Classic Rock reported the band’s powerful opening. They performed a trio of songs from ‘Killers’, including ‘Murders in the Rue Morgue,’ ‘Wrathchild,’ and ‘Killers.’ Some of these tracks hadn’t been performed live since 1999.
The evening’s setlist showcased six songs absent from live performances for a decade. The band also performed three tracks that hadn’t been played in at least five years. This selection demonstrated their commitment to delivering a unique experience for devoted followers.
The tour schedule continues across Europe. Upcoming shows will take place in Prague, Bratislava, Trondheim, Stavanger, Copenhagen, and Stockholm.
