How Did Sophie Simmons’ Childhood Dream Come True?

KISS bassist Gene Simmons’ daughter and singer, Sophie Simmons, recently shared a couple of photos to reveal her biggest childhood dream and how she has been paving the way of achieving it on her Instagram account. Also, she reflected her happiness and gratitude about it.

As you may recall, Sophie Simmons released her debut single entitled ‘Kiss Me,’ a Sixpence None the Richer song cover, in 2015. Her first song received very positive reviews from both music critics and her father, Gene Simmons. Then, she teamed up with Yellow Claw for their second studio album ‘Los Amsterdam,’ which was released on March 31, 2017.

In addition, she released two more singles named ‘Black Mirror’ and ‘Burn Me Down’ in 2018, and in the same year, she dropped her third single, ‘Paper Cut.’ Gene Simmons has always shared his daughters’ works on his social media account and showed his support by inviting his fans to listen to them. Even though Sophie didn’t release any new songs, she continued to collaborate with various artists.

In her recent Instagram post, Sophie Simmons shared a drawing she created when she was a little kid to unveil that she always wanted to be a singer. Also, she posted her memories about records and stage performances to prove that her childhood wish has come true. It can be said that Sophie Simmons is a dedicated musician who worked very hard to reach her goal.
