Hayley Williams’ Hit Song Gets Ridiculed As A Meme And She Doesn’t Get The Joke

Paramore singer Hayley Williams is struggling to understand why her iconic song ‘Airplanes’ went viral on TikTok and looking for the answer via Twitter.

‘Airplanes’ is the third single of rap musician B.o.B from his debut studio album, featuring the vocals of Hayley Williams. The song was released back in 2010, and it peaked at No. 2 on Billboard 200 charts. Back when this song was released, there was a fanart in which two cartoon characters, My Little Poony’s Twilight Sparkle and Regular Show’s Mordecai, fictionally fell in love with each other.

Both of these characters were portrayed looking at the sky and crying while wishing to be together. The fanart featured the lyrics of ‘Airplanes’ in the sky. After years, this artwork resurfaced, and some started creating videos about it on TikTok. While users have been sharing many videos about this meme, Hayley doesn’t seem to understand what’s happening.

Even though Williams said she doesn’t get the joke, almost none of her followers revealed these details. Instead, they started sending even more memes to confuse her. Hayley’s ‘I don’t get it guys’ tweet went viral on Twitter and got 130K likes, because people found Hayley’s unawareness even funnier than the meme.
