Paramore’s Hayley Williams has hinted at the possibility of a solo tour in 2025, five years after she had originally planned to take her solo music on the road.
The singer’s debut solo album, ‘Petals For Armor,’ was released in May 2020, and Williams had planned to tour the UK and Europe in support of the album that same year. However, her plans were put on hold due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. She later released her second solo album ‘Flowers For Vases / Descansos‘ in 2021 but couldn’t play proper shows for either release due to the pandemic.
Now, in a recent message on Instagram, she both celebrated her 36th birthday and shared the news with her fans, writing: “Thanks for the birthday wishes. It’s beautiful to feel seen and celebrated. 35 felt like tilling soil and throwing little seeds down. Waiting, waiting, waiting to see. 36 is exciting and a little scary, already. So much to hope for. I’m still in the dirt, ready for whatever might grow. Fruit?”
She added: “I’m going to try and finally play some shows next year that would’ve happened nearly 5 years ago now. That is, if the world doesn’t f*cking stop before then.”
Fans are now awaiting the possibility of her long-awaited solo shows in 2025.
In February 2023, Paramore released their highly anticipated comeback album ‘This is Why.’ The album features singles such as ‘The News,’ ‘C’est Comme Ça,’ and the title track ‘This is Why.’ In addition to the album release, Paramore hit the road for a tour in support of the record. They also had the opportunity to join Taylor Swift on her The Eras Tour in 2023.
