Gwen Stefani recently looked back on her career with No Doubt during an interview with Audacy Check-In. During the conversation, Stefani revealed she doesn’t like hearing some of the No Doubt songs since they were related to her past mistakes. She explained:
“I can’t listen to a lot of the songs because they speak so clearly to me. And it’s like you have regret and mistakes you’ve made. Most of the songs are about that. If I do ‘Ex-Girlfriend,’ even when I say it, I almost throw up in my mouth because…it’s just like, ‘Oh my God.’ It just brings you right back.”
Earlier this year, No Doubt announced the news about their highly-anticipated reunion show. Gwen Stefani-fronted band will perform at Coachella 2024 alongside Lana Del Rey and Doja Cat.
Stefani Had To Explain No Doubt And Coachella Her 10-Year-Old Son

In 2015, No Doubt performed live together for one last time. Only a year before, Gwen gave birth to her third son with Gavin Rossdale, Apollo Bowie Flynn Rossdale. Since Apollo was only one year old when his mother’s rock career with No Doubt ended, he didn’t know much about the band. In a previous interview with People, Stefani shared how she explained what No Doubt and Coachella actually meant. The singer stated:
“I had to literally lay in bed with Apollo and he’s like, ‘But mom, what is Coachella? Everyone’s saying it. What is this? It sounds like it’s a big deal.’ So we had to watch the ‘Don’t Speak’ video, and he’s like, ‘But wait, which one was your boyfriend?’ It was so weird and so funny. I literally had to tell him about each band member. That’s how much time’s gone by because he is going to be 10! It’s just another miracle and a blessing. And it was surreal for me.”
