Glenn Frey’s Son Deacon Joins The Eagles As A Special Guest

The son of the late Eagles singer Glenn Frey, Deacon, has joined the band as a special guest on the stage at their two recent concerts in Europe.
As the son of one of the most legendary musicians, Deacon Frey developed an interest in music from a very young age. Then, he decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and continued a professional career in music. After Glenn Frey’s passing on January 18, 2016, due to complications from rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis, and pneumonia, it was rumored that the Eagles would no longer be performing in the absence of the late singer.
However, the band announced shortly after that Frey’s son Deacon signed on as a full-time band member, along with Vince Gill, to share Frey’s duties within the group. Deacon performed with the band in his father’s place until his departure around two months ago. The remaining members explained that the singer wanted to start a new chapter in his career, yet they would always stand behind him as his biggest supporters.
Apparently, Deacon has been still on good terms with his former bandmates and constantly keeps in touch with them. The singer joined the Eagles on stage as a guest performer at their two recent concerts in Europe. The first show he played was in Arnhem, the Netherlands, on June 17, while the other was the band’s Liverpool gig on June 20. Deacon performed ‘Peaceful Easy Feeling,’ ‘Take It Easy,’ and ‘Already Gone’ with the group.
