Foo Fighters Announce First Guests Of The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert

Foo Fighters recently announced the first guests for The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts on their Twitter account. The band also indicated that the profits from the show would benefit some charities in the United Kingdom.

Unfortunately, Foo Fighters’ successful drummer Taylor Hawkins passed away on March 25, 2022. He was suffering from chest pain in his hotel room. Although the health services interfered, the drummer could not be saved and passed away at age 50.

This untimely passing deeply saddened the entire music world. Names from rock world shared their condolences on social media by talking about how Hawkins was a person who put a smile on everybody’s face. Stevie Nicks wrote a poem for him, while Travis Barker got a tattoo representing Hawkins.

In previous days, Foo Fighters also announced that they would arrange a tribute concert for Hawkins, which would begin on September 3 and end on September 27. Recently, the group released more information about the shows in their last tweets. The band announced the first leg of the tribute concert for Taylor Hawkins and added they would give more details about the show as soon as possible.

The band informed the audience that they would have the tickets starting from June 17. During the show, they will collaborate with names like Stewart Copeland, Liam Gallagher, Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, Brian May, Roger Taylor, Rufus Taylor, and Wolfgang Van Halen.

In their tweet, Foo Fighters wrote:

“London! Please welcome the first wave of special guests to join The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts! More to be announced soon. Tickets are on sale Friday, June 17 at 9 am local time.”

Also, the group stated that the profits from The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts would benefit some charities that the Hawkins family would choose. They will give more detailed information about it soon, as they mentioned.

The band continued:
