Flea Pays Tribute To The Band He Learned A Lot Before Founding Red Hot Chili Peppers
Res Hot Chili Peppers bass guitarist Flea took his official Instagram account to share a new post and paid his tribute to his former band, Fear.
Fear founded in 1977 by singer and guitarist Lee Ving and bassist Derf Scratch. 1982, the band decided to kick their bass guitarist while touring and added Flea, who stood in the band for around a year before joining Red Hot Chili Peppers.
In the post, Flea shared a picture of the band, which he was looking energetic as always, and wrote his thoughts about the band in the caption by saying that he learned a lot of things in his time with Fear.
While paying his respect to the band, Flea mentioned that he learned how to take control of the stage and leave nothing behind with Fear. Afterward, he stated that he is so grateful to spend time with them.
Here is what Flea said:
“I played in Fear for one year, towards the end of which, the red hots were born. Just a kid, I learned a lot from those guys, like how to take control of a stage and leave nothing behind. Grateful for my chance, my time.”
