Five Finger Death Punch have officially announced their tenth studio album, Legacy. The record will be released in digital format on July 31. CD, vinyl, and cassette versions will follow on September 18.

The band shared their excitement about the milestone release, marking two decades together as a group.

“New album, New music. Five Finger Death Punch: Legacy. Celebrating 20 years of 5FDP with our 10th studio album!” the band announced.

Guitarist Zoltan Bathory reflected on the deeper meaning behind the album’s title and the band’s journey over the past twenty years.

“Every album is a snapshot of who we were at that particular moment in time, and Legacy is exactly what the title suggests,” Bathory said. “It’s a reflection on the journey, the lessons, the victories, the struggles, and everything we’ve experienced over the last two decades.”

He went on to highlight the role fans have played throughout the band’s career.

“What makes that journey meaningful is that we didn’t make it alone,” Bathory continued. “We traveled this road alongside millions of fans around the world and somehow became part of each other’s lives. That’s an incredible thing to reflect on twenty years later.”

Alongside the album announcement, the band released a brand-new single titled “De Oppresso Liber.” The track is available now for download and streaming and serves as the first piece of new music from the upcoming project.

Pre-orders for both the digital and physical editions of Legacy are currently available through official outlets. The physical edition, which includes CD, vinyl, and cassette formats, arrives on September 18 — nearly two months after the digital version.

A partial tracklist for the album has also surfaced. Confirmed titles include “Legacy,” “De Oppresso Liber,” “Eye of the Storm,” “Nails in the Coffin,” and “In Time,” hinting at the introspective and hard-hitting direction the band has taken with the record.

Formed in Las Vegas in 2005, Five Finger Death Punch have built a reputation as one of heavy metal’s most enduring acts. The band has delivered commercially successful records across their two-decade career, cementing a global fanbase through lineup changes, personal struggles, and musical evolution.

With Legacy, the band draws a deliberate line between their past and future. The album serves as both a celebration of what they have built and a statement of continued relevance in the modern rock landscape.
