In a new interview with Basement Talk podcast, former Korn bassist Fieldy talked about his relationship with his bandmates.

“I haven’t talked to those guys since 2019,” he admitted. “So it’s like we’re just kind of both…. They’re truckin’. They’re a machine. They’re going. It’s insane. It’s dope that they can keep on going like that.”

It’s cool to see them keep on going. I’m, like, I need to chill. I’m just kickin’ it,” the rocker added.

Though Fieldy was a key member of the band, he has been absent from Korn for several years after stepping down in 2021 to address his ‘bad habits.’

His bad habits weren’t related to alcohol or drugs, though. A year after announcing his hiatus, the rocker updated his fans in a now-deleted video on Instagram. “When I made the statement about my ‘bad habits,’ they weren’t drugs,” he admitted. “When I’m done with all my responsibilities, I have a Bud Light, or as many as I want, to tell you the truth. I’m a grown man.”

He added, “To clarify the habits, I’ve never tried cocaine, I’ve never tried heroin. I drink Bud Light, man. It’s clear.”

The bassist also clarified that there is no bad blood between him and the rest of the band. “We have no beef. I’ve got no problem with those guys. You guys should support them. They’re ripping right now. They just got off tour. They’re killing it.”

Since Fieldy’s break from Korn, the band has been touring with Ra Díaz. Although not performing live with them, Fieldy did contribute bass guitar to Korn’s latest album, ‘Requiem.’
