Korn bassist Fieldy addressed questions about his future with the band in a recent interview with BREALTV.
A question about future Korn shows prompted a clear response from Fieldy. “I won’t be playing any shows, but we’ll see what tomorrow brings,” he said. “You never know. But for now, no. I’ve got plenty to do.”
His statement emerges amid ongoing speculation about his status with Korn. He has been on hiatus from the band since 2021.
The bassist’s current position highlights an extended period of separation from his bandmates and the metal scene.
Exposed Vocals revealed that Fieldy stepped away from Korn in 2021. He cited personal reasons and expressed a need to address his “bad habits.”
The extent of the separation became clearer through a Consequence report. Fieldy has not spoken with his former bandmates since 2019. This marks a significant period of disconnect from the group.
The PRP noted another significant change. Fieldy no longer listens to much metal music. This shift suggests new musical interests and priorities.
His recent statement maintains the possibility of future collaborations. However, Fieldy currently focuses on pursuits outside the band. He has no immediate plans to return to performing with Korn.
