Former Whitesnake and Quiet  Rito bassist Rudy Sarzo recently posted a tweet and publicly criticized the Kardashian family, stating that he does not perceive himself as a celebrity. Rather, he sees himself as a humble individual who brings joy to headbangers by performing songs.

A fan initially shared a photo of Sarzo waiting at the airport, and another one wrote as a comment:

“Rudy is one of the friendliest guys in rock. However, a good call on your part to let him be. Airports are not a place to bother celebs. Like anyone else, waiting for luggage and changing planes, etc., sucks for them too. The last thing you need is gushing fans.”

The musician responded to that tweet:

“I don’t consider myself a celebrity. I leave that to the Kardashians. I’m just a guy that’s blessed to play some songs from town to town that makes headbangers happy.”

Under the comment section of Sarzo’s tweet, fans mostly reacted positively and shared some of their memories with the bassist. One of them wrote:

“And that’s why everyone loves you, Rudy. [I] was fortunate enough to meet you at RRFC with Night Ranger, REO & Foreigner. You were such a humble, approachable, and down-to-earth guy. [I] didn’t get a chance to jam with you that weekend but hoping to see you at a future one and make some noise.”

Another user said:

“Rudy, you are more valuable than any Kardashian or ‘celebrity’ and truly a gift to this world as you have given us years of your music and the good deeds you constantly do for animals and others.”
