Evanescence Announces The Opening Act Of Their Upcoming Concert And Invites Fans To Join For Free

Evanescence recently posted a photo on their Instagram account and announced the winner of the Garage Band contest which will perform the opening act of the band’s upcoming live stream concert that fans can attend for free.

As you may recall, Evanescence released their recent studio album The Bitter Truth after a four-year break, on March 26, 2021. The album was praised by both fans and critics and it ranked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hard Rock and Current Rock Albums charts.

Although the band was planning to do the Worlds Collide tour in 2021 and promote their new album, they had to postpone the dates once again due to the ongoing pandemic. Thus, they decided to treat their fans with an online concert by collaborating with Alice Cooper and Cooper Tire.

Evanescence is going to perform at the Cooper Tire Livestream concert on May 14, 9 PM CT the host will be the iconic metal star, Alice Cooper. Two weeks ago, the band had asked their fans to vote for the opening act and grab a free ticket, and with their recent Instagram post, they announced the winner, Sound of Eden, who are going to open for Evanescence.

Here’s what Evanescence said in the caption of their recent post:

“MAY 13TH! We’re performing live with Sound of Eden, the garage band you voted for. Be sure to register now for the Livestream and hear songs from our new album, ‘The Bitter Truth,’ during the Cooper Tire Driven To Perform Livestream Concert at 8 pm CT.”
