Eric Clapton’s Daughter Ruth Sings A Bob Dylan Classic ‘It Ain’t Me Babe’
The legendary guitarist, Eric Clapton’s daughter, Ruth Clapton shared a video on her new Instagram account showing her performance of singing an iconic Bob Dylan song, ‘It Ain’t Me Babe.’
As you may remember, Ruth Clapton revealed that she started to take guitar lessons to produce her own musical materials. She highlighted that she was just a beginner and her followers shouldn’t expect any professional performances from her. However, Ruth proved her talent and interest in pursuing a music career like her father, Eric Clapton.
Last week, Ruth opened a new Instagram account after taking the opinions of her followers with a pool from her Instagram Stories. The account was named Ruth Clapton Music and she began to share her singing performance of various iconic songs. Previously, she shared her videos while she was singing Eva Cassidy’s ‘It Doesn’t Matter Anymore’ and John Lennon’s ‘Beautiful Boy.’
Recently, Clapton shared her new performance of ‘It Ain’t Me Babe.’ The song originally belonged to Bob Dylan’s fourth album ‘Another Side of Bob Dylan’ which was released on August 8, 1964, and then performed by Johnny Cash. ‘It Ain’t Me Babe’ became a popular and commercially successful song. Ruth’s singing performance of the song appreciated by her followers and received very positive comments.
