Elton John Joins Years And Years’ Olly Alexander To Perform A Special Version Of ’It’s A Sin’

Iconic songwriter, singer, and pianist, Elton John collaborated with Years and Years’ Olly Alexander in his performance of ‘It’s a Sin’ cover at Brit Awards on May 11, 2021. John also shared his latest collaboration with his fans from his Twitter account.
Not only Elton John’s solo works but also his collaborations with different musicians from various genres were appreciated and popular a lot. As you may remember, he played the piano for Ozzy Osbourne’s rock ballad ‘Ordinary Man’ at the beginning of the last year. Then, he collaborated with Lady Gaga for ‘Sine from Above’ which was the song of her sixth studio album ‘Chromatica.’
John also teamed up with Gorillaz for their seventh studio album ‘Song Machine, Season One: Strange Timez.’ Recently he joined Years and Years’ Olly Alexander’s ‘It’s a Sin’ at 2021’s Brit Awards. The song originally belongs to Pet Shop Boys’ second studio album ‘Actually’ which was released on June 15, 1987. Alexander and John collaborated on the new cover of the song as a benefit for EJAF.
Along with the Elton John and Olly Alexander distinguishable performance at the Brit Awards, a studio version of the cover also released on various music and platforms. Elton John stated that he was very happy to join Olly Alexander and shared the link of ‘It’s a Sin’ cover’s studio version from his Twitter account.
