Death has always been a complicated and inevitable experience, especially for those left behind after losing a beloved person. Grieving is painful for almost everyone, and some artists can leave their million of fans heartbroken due to their untimely death. In rock music, losing a musician was quite common due to its lifestyle’s over-the-top and wild nature.

The list of musicians who passed away too soon due to substance abuse, tragic events, or accidents is long. However, their fans, family members, bandmates, and fellow musicians never get used to saying one last goodbye to another celebrated rocker. While talking about the longtime friendship between the two icons, Young recalled Eddie’s visit to the band’s California concert in 2000.
