DragonForce has announced its first album featuring new singers Alissa White-Gluz and Alessio Garavello. The band unveiled the lead single “Hunger of the Beast” in a statement shared on Instagram.
The announcement details the single’s release, its accompanying streaming rollout, and information about the upcoming album and tour.
“IT’S HERE! ‘Hunger of the Beast’ is out now, only on YouTube. Streaming everywhere THIS THURSDAY!” DragonForce said. “This is the lead single from ‘DragonForce,’ our 10th album, which drops March 19th 2027.”
The band also pointed fans toward pre-orders and ticket sales for its upcoming tour.
“Pre-order now via Napalm Records. US/Canada tour tickets are also on sale now,” DragonForce continued.
The self-titled album, DragonForce’s tenth studio release, is set to arrive on March 19, 2027.
The record was produced by Jens Bogren and recorded across the US, UK, Canada and Sweden. Garavello is a longtime friend of the group and previously served as former singer Marc Hudson’s vocal coach; he has also filled in for Hudson on prior occasions.
Hudson has stepped back from DragonForce’s music and touring duties due to persistent tinnitus problems. He remains connected to the band in a managerial capacity.
Garavello now handles male vocals, and White-Gluz fronts the band alongside him. The pairing marks the band’s first dual-vocal arrangement of this kind, setting the stage for both the new album and the touring cycle ahead.
The band’s touring plans extend through 2026 and 2027, with part of its fall activity tied to the 20th anniversary of Inhuman Rampage.
