David Crosby Sheds Light On Mysterious Jimi Hendrix Photo

David Crosby recently clarified what Jimi Hendrix was doing in a mysterious photograph with his recent tweet.

As you know, Jimi Hendrix was one of the most influential musicians in rock history. After a short but prolific career, Hendrix joined the 27 Club when he passed away on September 18, 1970. Even after his death, he continued to inspire musicians with his musical talent and distinct guitar playing.

Making honest remarks and using social media often, David Crosby had also stated that Hendrix had changed the world of guitar. As for the recent news, Crosby responded to the novelist Rabih Alammeddine’s tweet. In the tweet, Alammeddine mentioned two artists who died too young and produced terrific work, according to him.

He then asked other people’s thoughts, and Crosby mentioned Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin as a response. Following that, one of Crosby’s fans posted a photo of Jimi Hendrix and asked Crosby to shed light on what Hendrix is doing there. Upon seeing this, Crosby said he thinks Hendrix is pretending to knock his ashes off into the kettle in the photo.

Rabih Alammedine’s tweet was:

“Off the top of my head, I can think of two people who produced amazing work and died much too young, Schubert (31) and Schiele (28). Anyone else?”

David Crosby responded to this tweet by saying:

Hendrix and Janis.

A fan then posted a photo of Jimi Hendrix for Crosby, asking him that:

“David, can you shed a light on what Jimi is doing here, or is he just high AF?”

After seeing the photo, Crosby replied:

“He’s pretending to knock his ashes off into the kettle.”
