The 2026 announcement marks another chapter in a festival that has grown into one of rock’s most anticipated one-day events. It consistently draws fans with its genre-blending approach and Deftones’ signature curation.

Dia De Los Deftones was first held in 2018. The festival took a hiatus before returning in 2022 for the first time since 2019, resuming its place on the San Diego music calendar.

Past performers have included Turnstile, 100 Gecs, Megan Thee Stallion, and Chvrches, reflecting the band’s commitment to showcasing artists from across the musical spectrum.

Petco Park, the home of the San Diego Padres, continues to serve as the festival’s venue. The stadium has become closely associated with the festival’s identity over its recent editions.

The 2026 edition is currently one of only two confirmed North American appearances for Deftones for the remainder of the year. The band is also set to headline a major UK show at London’s Victoria Park on August 23, 2026, as part of Outbreak Fest.
