Dee Snider Starts Working On Music After A 21-Month Break, ‘It Is Surreal’

Twisted Sister’s frontman Dee Snider recently posted a tweet on his Twitter account and expressed his excitement for finally hitting the road after not performing for 21 months, and hinted at what his fans should expect from him in the coming weeks.

Dee Snider is one of the most well-known frontpeople in the metal scene, and he achieved worldwide fame in the mid-’80s as the lead singer of Twisted Sister. Although he surprised his fans by quitting the band soon after their breakthrough, his solo career and side projects have contributed to his fame.

As you may recall, some weeks ago Dee Snider had announced that he’ll release his new studio album named Leave a Scar on July 30, through Napalm Records. This will be his fifth solo album after a three-year break as he released his latest album For the Love of Metal in 2018.

With his recent tweet, Dee Snider said that he’s very excited to finally have a full schedule after 21 months. First, he’ll go to New York to rehearse with his band, then he’ll do a concert filming for his new album. Following that, he’ll do some rehearsals with Rock Me Amadeus Live and then do another concert filming before he finally gets on stage with Kings of Chaos.

Here’s what Dee Snider said in his recent tweet:

After not performing for 21 months, what I’m doing in the next couple of weeks is surreal. 1st rehearsals in NY with my band, then a concert filming for my new album, then rehearsals with Rock Me Amadeus Live, another concert filming then off to rock with Kings of Chaos.”
