Nikki Sixx Reacts To The ‘Selfish Pricks’ Who Don’t Take The Pandemic Seriously
Mötley Crüe co-founder and bassist Nikki Sixx posted a picture of himself on his Instagram account dedicated to his photography and showed his reaction to those who don’t care about Covid-19 and put other people’s lives in danger by causing the pandemic to spread even more.
As you might recall, earlier in 2020, Nikki Sixx made an unexpected decision to leave his house in Los Angeles and move to Wyoming permanently with his wife Courtney Sixx and their daughter Ruby. Nikki previously stated that the spread of coronavirus was among the reasons that affected his decision to move to Wyoming, where he felt safer for his family’s health.
The multitalented musician, who already proved his skills as a photographer and an author, posted a picture of himself on Instagram which was taken by Dustin Jack almost a year ago at Sixx’s own studio. In the picture he posted on his Instagram account dedicated to his photography, Nikki is posing for his friend while holding a hat and a knife in his hands.
In the caption of his post, Sixx drew attention to the difficulties that many people working in the creative fields had to struggle with during the coronavirus pandemic, such as the photographer Dustin Jack and the make-up artist Caroline Hernandez. Nikki also stated that he actually missed playing live in front of the fans a lot as well as watching games in person.
Moreover, Sixx thanked all the ‘beautiful people’ who have been taking Covid-19 seriously while cursing the ones who don’t. Calling them the ‘selfish pricks,’ Nikki aimed to address everyone who doesn’t follow the necessary precautions and reminded them to consider the rest of our fellow humans.
Here is what Nikki Sixx wrote in the caption of his post:
“Flashback to a year ago with Dustin Jack at my studio. I always enjoy working with Dustin because we jam together. It’s been really hard with Covid 19 for all kinds of creatives that most people wouldn’t think about. Make-up artists like Caroline Hernandez who I love working with and stylists (I styled this myself but you get the point).
I miss playing live and seeing sports (I know I’m not alone). Thank you to the beautiful people who take this pandemic seriously and fuck you to the ones who are selfish pricks and refuse to consider the rest of our fellow humans. Hat by Nick Fouquet (another madman I get to create with)”
As you might recall, before the Covid-19 pandemic took over the world, Mötley Crüe members were planning to reunite for ‘The Stadium Tour 2020.’ However, they had to postpone their plans for a future date.
