Twisted Sister lead vocalist Dee Snider recently posted a tweet after one of his fans wanted to share their feelings about their late mother, who passed years ago on Christmas Day. Snider responded to the fan, saying that he could feel his pain and remembered when he lost his mother due to a tragic incident.

Dee Snider’s mother, Marguerite Snider, was a retired art teacher, and she always supported her son’s dreams as a loving mother and person who adored the art too. Also, she had to take care of her little children who needed her at home as the singer’s father Bob was working as a police officer for too many hours.

Marguerite Snider was a selfless and hardworking person who would sacrifice everything for her children. Therefore, Dee Snider always expressed his gratitude and admiration for his mother, even after her passing. Unfortunately, his mother was hit by a car, and she was in the hospital for months.

While Dee Snider’s fans were expecting good news, unfortunately, the vocalist announced that Marguerite Snider passed away in her sleep on January 2, 2018, at the age of 86, after fighting serious injuries caused by a car accident, but the details about the incident remained unknown.

Snider’s tweet read:

“Since so many people continue to ask about my mom’s health on social media, I have no choice but to respond in kind: My mother, Marguerite Snider, died in her sleep on January 2 after struggling for the past two months since the car hit her. Rest in peace, Mom. I love you.”

Dee Snider recently recalled his mother’s death after a fan revealed that their deceased mother was a metalhead and huge Twisted Sister fan and noted that she passed away on Christmas. Snider said he can understand what they went through after losing their beloved mother on a special day as he lost his one day after New Year.

Here’s what a fan wrote:

Lost my mom years ago on Christmas Day, Dee. She was a metalhead just like me and was a big Twisted Sister fan.”

Snider responded:

“Sorry for your loss. Not trying to top you, just commiserate. My mom was hit by a car on Halloween, suffered brain damage, and died the day after New Year four years ago. It’s always tough and the memory remains.
