Dee Snider Picks The Two Perfect Rock Songs Of All Time

In a recent tweet, Dee Snider revealed his top picks for best rock songs.

Former Twisted Sister frontman wrote in his post:

“So I was thinking about perfect songs. Songs that kill it from top to bottom. I know there are many, but two came to mind: ‘Mississippi Queen’ – Mountain. ‘Highway Star’ – Deep Purple. Name some others!”

Snider’s Favorite Singers

Previously, Snider sparked a debate on Twitter about the difference between a great performer and a great singer. He believes being a performer takes more than just stage presence. Snider later shared his favorite lead singers:

“Good question. Believe it or not, I didn’t go to many concerts in my teens, so I got my ‘frontman’ inspiration from photos! I never saw anyone move! Lol! Frontmen I respect? Bruce Dickinson, David Lee Roth, Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Axl Rose, and James Brown the goat.”

What Does He Think About The Most Talented Musician?

The singer also has the opinion of the most talented musician of all time. When a user asked for help in naming who it could be on X, Snider replied:

“Jimi Hendrix.”

In response to Dee’s tweet, another user wrote:

“I would say Prince, but I don’t really know what I’m talking about.”

The rocker then expressed appreciation for the response:

“Not a bad call, but he was a huge Hendrix fan.”

Snider also recently revealed that Twisted Sister might reunite shortly. He said offers for a new Twisted Sister tour were increasing, and the band was considering a reunion. In 2023, the band reunited for a show at the Metal Hall of Fame.
