Dee Snider, who has been relatively quiet on social media since the US elections, recently addressed his silence. He teased that it might continue until he unveils a new project he’s working on.
“Since I don’t watch the news, I’m not ready to unveil my latest project; and I’m happy…I really don’t have anything to post these days,” the tweet read.
Snider’s last solo record, ‘Leave A Scar,’ came out in May 2021 produced by Jamey Jasta. Nick Bellmore handled the mixing and mastering while Cannibal Corpse’s Corpsegrinder made a guest appearance on the track ‘Time To Choose.’
After the release, the singer said he was done making solo albums. “Don’t hold your breath, because I’m feeling like I’m done,” he told RockPages.gr last year.
“I’m feeling like I’m done. Now I said that after ‘For The Love Of Metal’ [2018], and then COVID hit and I called Jamey up and Jamey Jasta said, ‘I wanna do another record.’ But right now I’m feeling very comfortable in who I am, what I am, what I’m doing and how I’m spending my life. I’m not feeling this urge.”
Snider still collaborated with Carmine Appice and Dug Pinnick on Cactus’ ‘Temple of Blues – Influences & Friends’ earlier this year, though.
