Death Angel have released their new single ‘The Never Was’, which is now available on all streaming platforms. The band posted on Instagram to announce the track.
The single arrives as Death Angel prepare for a series of international tour dates across Europe and Australia, as well as their annual holiday shows.
“IT’S HERE!!! We’re beyond stoked to finally unleash our new single ‘The Never Was’ upon the world!” Death Angel wrote. “OUT NOW on all streaming platforms! Crank it LOUD and let us know what you think!”
The announcement comes ahead of the band’s upcoming live performances in multiple regions.
The single follows two other standalone tracks released in 2025, “Wrath (Bring Fire)” and “Cult Of The Used”. This marks the band’s first new music since 2019’s Grammy-nominated Humanicide. The title track of Humanicide was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance, marking the group’s first Grammy nomination. No album has been announced yet.
Death Angel are set to play their annual Christmas shows in Los Angeles on December 17th and San Francisco on December 18th. The band will then take their Act III anniversary tour to Europe in December, followed by a five-date run in Australia in early 2027. The fall 2026 European leg sees Death Angel perform the “Act III” album in its entirety as part of the 35th anniversary celebration. Vio-Lence will join the band as special guests on the European dates.
