David Lee Roth recently used a ‘canceled’ pop artist’s music in a YouTube video, raising questions about whether it was a show of support against the ongoing controversies.

The rocker shared a video called ‘Photo Shoot..’ and danced to Lizzo’s ‘About Damn Time‘ while posing and hyping himself up for the camera. However, Lizzo has been on target due to allegations regarding ‘harassment’ and ‘abuse,’ as the pop singer received backlash from numerous names in the industry.

Still, there were also those who supported her, names such as Grimes and Big Grrrl Dancers; and now, with Roth using a Lizzo hit in his video, it appeared that his fans weren’t bothered by the usage as the commenters didn’t explicitly question whether the rocker ‘supported’ the pop singer. A fan simply wrote:

“Dave, thanks, [this video] made my day!”

Another one said:

“Hot stuff! Thank you [for the video]! Love you.”

The comments carried on by different compliments:

“Keep rockin’ Dave.”

As Roth’s fans seemed pleased with the new video and not bothered by the Lizzo feature, these aren’t the only ‘compliments’ Dave received recently. Rolling Stones featured the rocker in its annual list of ’50 Greatest Rock Lead Singers,’ as Roth ranked 20th among names such as Robert Plant and Freddie Mercury.
