David Lee Roth has announced a major 30-date solo tour across North America, as reported on his Instagram.
The announcement included details about ticket sales and the tour’s extensive scope across multiple states and provinces.
“Presale begins tomorrow JAN 6th at 10AM local. Public On-Sale: Friday, JAN 9th at 10 AM local,” David Lee Roth wrote in the announcement.
The tour will launch on April 16 in Airway Heights, Washington. Roth is scheduled to visit California, Arizona and Texas later in the month. In May, the tour will continue through Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina and Ontario, among other locations.
Fan reactions to the announcement have been mixed. Some expressed excitement while others questioned the tour given Roth’s previous retirement statement in 2021. One fan commented, “Can’t wait. Seen the show last year in New Hampshire, it was electrifying.” Another fan said, “I’m sorry, didn’t he issue a huge retirement statement in 2021. I really wish he would hold true to it.”
This extensive tour marks a significant return to the road for the former Van Halen frontman. He has maintained an active performance schedule despite previous retirement discussions.
Louder Sound reported that the tour will include stops in major cities across the continent. Roth’s 2026 itinerary kicks off at Spokane Live in Airway Heights. The comprehensive schedule demonstrates Roth’s commitment to reaching fans across diverse markets throughout the spring and early summer months.
The tour will feature classic Van Halen material that has defined Roth’s career. Q105.7 noted that audiences can expect to hear Van Halen hits such as “Panama,” “Jump,” “Jamie’s Cryin'” and many more during the performances. This setlist approach ensures fans will experience the iconic songs that made Roth a rock legend during his tenure with the legendary band.
MetalSucks confirmed that the tour will include stops in Tucson, Arizona; Orlando, Florida; Boston, Massachusetts; and Sioux Falls, South Dakota, among other cities. This geographic diversity reflects Roth’s intention to connect with fans across different regions of North America.
The tour represents a continuation of Roth’s solo career. This has allowed him to maintain his distinctive stage presence and vocal style while performing the classic material that established his reputation as one of rock’s most charismatic frontmen.
