David Gilmour’s Wife Polly Samson Announces The Sudden Death Of Dog Barbounia, Fans Rush To Support
David Gilmour’s wife Polly Samson recently announced the untimely death of their beloved dog Barbounia via an Instagram post. Upon hearing the sad news, fans supported the Gilmour family.
Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour’s family loves having dogs as part of their family. The family adopted dogs from rescue, and they had a German Shepherd named Khan and dogs called Tilly and Doris. Back in 2017, however, Khan passed away and left the Gilmour family heartbroken.
Gilmour included one of his dog’s vocals in a Pink Floyd song, apart from enjoying their loyalty, companionship, and hearts full of love to give. In the track entitled ‘Seamus’ from their 1971 album Meddle, the dog with the same name ‘sang the back vocals.‘
