In response to a fan’s inquiry about whether Tinder had paid off for him, the singer clarified, writing:

“We met on Bumble, actually.”

The Emotional Journey Post-Divorce

In 2023, Draiman and his wife Lena Yada ended their ten-year marriage. The musician’s divorce was a significant emotional challenge for him. In a May 2023 interview with The Jerusalem Post, he shared the difficulties he faced, explaining:

“It’s been an upheaval – divorce is not an easy thing to handle. It affects everything, not just my work. It’s been a rough start to the year, so it’s nice to be able to have something positive to focus on and try and get re-centered. But the darkness keeps creeping in once in a while.”

Online Dating As A Coping Mechanism

As part of moving forward, the singer explored new ways to cope with the aftermath of his split, one of which was diving into online dating. A fan had discovered Draiman’s Tinder profile and questioned its authenticity, to which David confirmed it was indeed his, writing:

“Not fake. It’s me.”

After the fan apologized for making an assumption, the singer responded:

“All good. You’d be surprised. It’s hard for a guy like me to meet the right woman. I’ll tell you, it’s been weird so far. Lots of scammers. Trying to figure out how to navigate this new terrain.”

However, his time on the platform was brief, as he soon deleted his account. He described his experience on Tinder as overwhelmingly negative, filled with scammers, grifters, and fake profiles, leading him to eventually remove the app and refer to the experience as a nightmare in a separate post.
