Disturbed’s David Draiman recently slammed social media users cheering for the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles on Instagram.

His post read, “There are people on this platform cheering on the destruction caused by the Los Angeles Fires. Delighting in the misery and misfortune of others. Nothing justifies this. No reason. No cause. NOTHING. Absolute scum. The lot of you.”

The fires have caused significant damage, affecting many, including celebrities. Primus guitarist Larry LaLonde lost his house, which he planned to remodel, to the disaster and shared what was left of it on Instagram, a couple of days ago.

“My mind is still trying to convince me this whole thing is real,” LaLonde shared. “As the losses in this fire trickle into my brain, it feels like being hit with a bag of rocks over and over, but the people around us make me feel like the luckiest motherfucker on the planet.”

Several rockers, including Mötley Crüe’s Tommy Lee, Anthrax’s Scott Ian, and Joe Bonamassa, were also forced to leave their homes due to the advancing fires.

The wildfires continue to cause extensive damage in the Los Angeles area, with officials reporting that over 1,000 buildings have been destroyed. The fast-moving fires have demolished homes and businesses, forcing many to flee their smoke-filled neighborhoods.
