David Crosby Shares The Band He Wished To Front

Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’s David Crosby recently posted a tweet to reveal the band he would wish to be their frontman.

Following the release of his successful record ‘For Free’ on July 23, 2021, David Crosby began to spend most of his spare time on social media. Revealing his thoughts on various topics like music, politics, and social matters without any doubt, Crosby likes to interact with his fans, especially on Twitter.

Besides sharing his views, Crosby also likes to answer fans’ questions about his favorites. In early March, Crosby praised his collaborator Michelle Willis in a tweet and revealed that she is one of her favorite singers. In another, he responded to a fan question and said Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters doesn’t appeal to him.

Recently, SiriusXM host Eric Alper asked a question to his followers on Twitter. He asked them what band would they want to front and which one of their songs they would think of singing. David Crosby saw this and named the band he would like to lead.

In his tweet, David Crosby stated that he wanted to be the frontman of the rock band Steely Dan and sing their song ‘Aja.’ Steely Dan was formed in 1971, and they enjoyed remarkable commercial and critical success through their seven studio albums, especially after the release of ‘Aja.’

SiriusXM host Eric Alper tweeted the following:

“You get to front the band of your choice and sing one song in concert. Who is the band, and what’s the song?”

In response to this, David Crosby said:

Steely Dan. Probably Aja.
