David Crosby Says He Could Not Do What Mick Jagger Does As He Shares Opinion On The Rolling Stones

The vocalist and co-founder of The Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash, David Crosby shared a post on his official Twitter page revealing his opinions about the Rolling Stones and the hypothetical question of how he would feel if they offered to open for him in addition to filling the place of the frontman Mick Jagger.

As some of you might know, David Crosby is quite an active social media user, especially on his official Twitter page on which he nearly has 200k followers. the Byrds frontman often uses his social media account to answer his fans’ questions about his music career which spans over nearly 6 decades, thus, brings numerous questions to mind.

Recently, a fan shared a post on Twitter asking David Crosby a question about the Rolling Stones and asked what Crosby would do if the band offered to open a show for him. Apparently, the Byrds guitarist did not feel like it would be an opening performance as he stated that the Rolling Stones can play straight up 3 hours which is quite long.

Here is what the fan asked:

“How about if the Stones offered to open for YOU, Croz?”

Here is what Crosby said:

The stones can play 3 hours of number one records”

After seeing him answering a question about the Rolling Stones, fans started to pour questions about the band to David Crosby and another fan asked another hypothetical possibility to him and stated that if the band stop working with the legendary frontmen Mick Jagger and offer him the job, how would he feel and react.

While the idea of this opportunity is exciting enough, David Crosby stated that Mick Jagger has big shoes to fill in along with the Rolling Stones, therefore, he would not be able to pull off filling the place of Jagger as the band is not only big, they are good.
