David Crosby Compares The Beatles And The Rolling Stones’ Abilities To Sing Harmony

The Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash founder, David Crosby answered his fans’ questions on a video of Rollin Stone’s Youtube channel and chose his side between The Beatles and The Rolling Stones giving the reasons behind his decision.

For almost sixty years, Crosby has had a productive and successful musical career. On September 29, 2017, he released his sixth solo studio album ‘Sky Trails’ supported by Crosby, Pevar & Raymond bandmates also including collaborations with James Raymond, Becca Stevens, Michael McDonald, Mai Agan, and Joni Mitchell.

David Crosby was the guest of Rolling Stone’s Youtube channel and answered the questions of his fans sincerely and honestly. One of the fans asked to decide the best legendary rock band among The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Although, it has been one of the greatest debates in rock music history and most people still can’t choose their sides.

However, Crosby made his decision about this dilemma and answered the question saying that The Beatles is better than The Rolling Stones without hesitation. The reasons behind it were the band’s wider range of writing and ability to sing harmoniously. Also, he added that it was his personal taste and anyone could choose the opposite.

Here’s what he said:

“The Beatles. Mainly because of the range of the stuff they did. The Stones did have a fairly wide range that they did, but The Beatles had a much wider range of writing that they could do.

And The Beatles could sing harmony. The Stones can’t do that for squat, but The Beatles can do it really well.

It’s a matter of personal taste, of course, but for me, Beatles, no question.”
