Dave Grohl Will Join Joe Walsh And James Gang For ‘One Last Ride’
The Eagles icon Joe Walsh shared a post on his official Instagram account to announce that James Gang will be reuniting with special guest Dave Grohl for ‘One Last Ride.’
Joe played with James Gang for the first time in 1968 with Tom Kriss on bass and Jim Fox on drums. Their most famous songs, ‘Funk #49’ and ‘Walk Away,’ stood the test of time and are still played on radio channels. Despite achieving great success together, Walsh left to pursue a solo career and later joined the Eagles.
James Gang decided to reunite after decades of following other paths in the music industry. The trio reunited for ‘One Last Ride.’ The line-up for the sixth annual VetsAid benefit concert includes Dave Grohl and the newly reunited James Gang. There will also be sets from Nine Inch Nails, The Black Keys, and The Breeders.
The musician expressed his excitement about going back home to Columbus for VetsAid 2022. He added that all proceeds from the concert will go to charities serving veterans. Walsh also mentioned that ‘One Last Ride’ will reunite James Gang on November 13 at Nationwide Arena. He also noted that Dave Grohl will attend as a special guest.
Joe Walsh’s IG post read:
“They’re already calling it ‘One of the biggest nights in Ohio rock history!’ on Cleveland’s website. I’m coming home to Columbus for VetsAid 2022! James Gang to reunite for ‘One Last Ride’ with special guest Dave Grohl plus sets from Nine Inch Nails, The Black Keys, and The Breeders Sunday, November 13 at Nationwide Arena. All net proceeds from the concert will go directly to veterans’ services charities. Tickets go on sale Friday, August 5th at 10 AM.”
