Corey Taylor’s wife Alicia Taylor recently shared a confrontational message she received from a Behemoth fan. She also shared her response in a story on Instagram.
A fan sent Taylor a critical message regarding her alleged comments about the metal band Behemoth.
“Are you the b*tch who made fun of Behemoth? F*cking religious piece of sh*t,” the Behemoth fan wrote in a message to Alicia Taylor.
Taylor responded directly to the accusatory message with a brief but defiant reply.
“Totally. Sorry, Nergal. Let’s fight,” Alicia Taylor responded.

The incident reflects the broader tensions surrounding Behemoth’s controversial presence in the metal community, particularly regarding their provocative anti-religious stance.
Behemoth, fronted by Adam “Nergal” Darski, has built a reputation for challenging religious sensibilities through their music and public statements. Chaoszine reported that Nergal recently won a significant legal battle after being acquitted of charges for “offending religious feelings” with a controversial sculpture depicting Jesus on a cross combined with phallic imagery. The artwork was gifted to him by Celtic Frost’s Tom Gabriel Fischer.
The legal proceedings cost Nergal considerable time and money. They ultimately ended with a court ruling that his actions, while disrespectful to some, were meaningless in legal terms. Lambgoat noted that this victory represented a broader win for artistic expression in the face of religious offense claims.
The band’s confrontational approach has also sparked direct fan conflicts within the metal community. Heaven’s Metal Magazine documented how Christian metalheads organized a vocal campaign on the band’s Instagram when Behemoth teased their provocative single “The Sh*t of God.” They flooded the comments with “Christ is King” declarations and recommended Christian metal bands instead.
This clash underscored the deep divide within the metal community between secular and Christian audiences. It reflects Behemoth’s polarizing presence in the genre. The incident involving Alicia Taylor demonstrates how these tensions extend beyond the band members themselves to their families and associates on social media platforms.
