Suicide Silence guitarist Chris Garza has announced his return to the band. He shared a photo of the band’s upcoming tour dates on Instagram after taking a hiatus that began back in January.
Garza shared a brief but enthusiastic message confirming his comeback and pointing fans toward upcoming ticket availability.
“Okay. I’m back!” Garza said. “Tickets on Sale Friday July 24th at 10am.”
The announcement marks the end of a self-described reset period for the guitarist. When Garza originally stepped away from the band, he explained that the constant mental presence of Suicide Silence had taken its toll after more than two decades.
“As some of you have noticed, I’ve missed the last couple Suicide Silence shows,” he said at the time. “It’s because I’m on a hiatus from the band. SuSi has been on my brain every day since 2002 with no break. Everything is fine. I just need to press the reset button so I can make the right decisions in the near future. As the Terminator said. I’ll be back.”
Garza’s return comes at a significant moment for the band. Suicide Silence are gearing up for one of their most substantial touring runs in recent memory.
The band has announced the “Reminders Of Hell Tour,” a 24-date fall 2026 North American run. The trek kicks off on November 6 in Riverside, California — the band’s hometown. It wraps on December 13 in Los Angeles.
Support throughout the tour will come from Emmure, Angelmaker, and Synestia, rounding out a strong lineup for deathcore fans heading into the end of the year.
General ticket sales for the tour launched on July 24 at 10 a.m. local time. The timing aligned directly with Garza’s return announcement, making his comeback post a de facto launch signal for the tour campaign.
With Garza back in the fold and a full North American tour on the horizon, Suicide Silence appear to be entering a new chapter with their lineup intact and a clear road ahead.
