“Enough is enough. A lot of you might know because you’ve been sending these screenshots to me,” Daughtry said. “Sh*t is getting unbelievably nuts out there with the fake accounts, the fake news, and the fake headlines. It is just insane. The amount of times I see, ‘Hey, is this real?'”
The images in question were artificially generated and not authentic. Daughtry clarified this point and expressed concern about how easily people were falling for the fabricated content.
“It’s not real. It’s clearly AI, y’all. Some of this stuff is so ridiculous that I’m baffled that people would ask if this is real,” he explained. “It affects me on a deep level when things are said that aren’t true about me or my family. And then to have it constantly being sent to me by people? It’s too much.”
The digital age has brought a broader crisis affecting public figures. The musician’s response highlights this urgent challenge. Daughtry posted a video on Instagram on November 13, 2025, directly addressing the issue. He showed examples of the AI-fabricated photos, including the controversial black eye image supposedly inflicted by his wife.
