Måneskin’s guitarist, Thomas Raggi, recently shared insights about the band’s creative journey during their hiatus in an interview with Allison Hagendorf.
Raggi discussed how each band member explored their individual creative outlets over the past year. When asked about how these experiences have influenced their dynamic, he reflected on the importance of personal growth within the group.
“We learn a lot cuz like each one of us experiment in different words basically. So I think that this is very important for a band. Because in the moment that we come back into the studio to put our different background, you know, to the next record. I think that is going to be sick at this point,” Raggi said.
He continued, “I think that is important like to have also these kind of moments into a band project, guess. So yeah, I’m excited to be honest. They hear my record, they were super into that. They support me a lot. So it’s super nice.”
Raggi also emphasized the strong bond among the band members. He added, “We hang out every day. I mean when we have time, of course, when we are all in Rome, of course. But we are a family basically. We grew up together, you know. So yeah, we have a very solid life.”
Raggi’s comments hint at an exciting new chapter for Måneskin as they prepare to return to the studio. Fans can look forward to the band’s next creative endeavor.
Måneskin are currently on hiatus, with the Italian rock band’s years active listed as 2016–2024 while they pursue solo projects and take a break from group activities rather than officially splitting up. This pause follows intense global success and individual work, especially lead singer Damiano David’s solo album and tour, and leaves the door open for a future reunion.
