Chris Daughtry recently told Loudwire Nights about the dream he saw and how it eventually made its way to an opportunity to tour with Disturbed.

“I manifested this over a year ago. I had this dream that I was on stage with David and we were — it was obvious in the dream that we were on tour together and that this was a nightly thing,” he revealed during the chat. “I don’t even know what song it was, I don’t even think it was a song that existed,” he recalled. “It was like a ballad that no one has heard. It was the greatest song that no one’s ever heard.”

When he woke up, he texted Draiman about the tour and singing together. Draiman replied, “Both of those things are possibilities.” Daughtry said that Over the next few months, he kept asking Draiman when Disturbed would be touring.

“[I told him] we’d love to support you and it would be a huge honor,” he added. “This was before we knew they were going out on the 25th anniversary tour — that was icing on the cake. When we got that news, I kid you not, I lost my sh*t on the tour bus.”

Disturbed announced the 34-date North American tour in October last year. The band will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their 2000 debut album, ‘The Sickness.’ They’ll perform the entire album along with a second set of greatest hits each night. The first half of the tour will feature Three Days Grace with Adam Gontier and Sevendust. The second half will include Daughtry with Nothing More.

The ‘The Sickness 25th Anniversary Tour‘ will start in Idaho on February 25 and include stops in cities like Denver, St. Louis, Chicago, Detroit, and Las Vegas, ending on May 17 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
