Chester Bennington Would Have Turned 45 Today, Here’s How Linkin Park Family Celebrated His Birthday

The late frontman of Linkin Park, Chester Bennington was honored by his family and the Linkin Park family on social media platforms on what would have been his 45th birthday.

As you may know, Linkin Park was founded by Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, and Rob Bourdon back in 1996. Later, with the contributions of their lead singer Chester Bennington, the band released their iconic album, ‘Hybrid Theory,’ in 2000, which brought them mainstream success.

However, Linkin Park members experienced an inutterable heartbreak when they lost their beloved frontman in 2017. Bennington was found dead at his home in California on July 20, 2017. The cause of his death was later announced as suicide by hanging himself.

On March 20th, his family and fans around the world shared several messages and tributes on social media platforms on what would have been Chester’s 45th birthday. The official Twitter account of Linkin Park wished their late singer a happy birthday and asked their fans to share their favorite photos and memories in the comment section of the Twitter post. Bennington’s former bandmate Mike Shinoda retweeted the birthday message of Linkin Park on his official Twitter account without adding a comment.

Here’s what the official Twitter account of Linkin Park posted in honor of Chester Bennington:

“Happy Birthday, Chester! Feel free to share your favorite photos/memories below.”

On the other hand, Chester’s wife and the mother of three of his children, Talinda Bennington shared an old video of her late husband dancing with their son Tyler. In the caption of the video, Talinda stated that her life without Chester never gets easier or less painful. She also mentioned that she and their kids missed him dearly and they will celebrate him in so many ways on this special day. She stated that as a part of the celebrations, Tyler will teach the dance he and his father performed to his mother and twin sisters, Lily and Lila.

Here is how Talinda Bennington celebrated her late husband’s birthday:

“Happy Birthday. You would have been 45 and yes, Tyler would have you doing this dance again! This life without you never gets easier or less painful. We miss you dearly. We will celebrate you in so many ways today. Tyler teaching the girls and me this dance will be just one.”
