Carlos Santana Postpones Shows Due To Anxiety And Further Recovery

Carlos Santana‘s manager Michael Vrionis informed fans of the postponed six further dates on his ‘Miraculous Supernatural 2022 Tour’ and his current health status.

Rock veteran Carlos Santana is a trailblazer in combining Latin American jazz and rock and roll with his band Santana. He heavily influenced the rock scene in the late ’60s and early ’70s. He used blues melodies and Latin American and African rhythms in his music, which his fans well-received.

The rocker was on his ‘Miraculous Supernatural 2022 Tour’ until recently. His health suddenly deteriorated during a performance at the Pine Knob Music Theater on July 5, and he collapsed on stage. Later, his team announced that ‘he was overtaken by heat exhaustion and dehydration.’

His manager later informed the fans that Santana had to recover after his recent medical emergencies to heal completely. He added that several shows throughout July had to be postponed for further recovery. He also stated that Santana is counting down the days to get back on stage for his fans.

Santana’s manager, Michael Vrionis’ statement about the postponed shows and Santana’s health:

“I regret to inform you that the Santana band has postponed tonight’s show at Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana. And, we are postponing the July 9 show at Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio; July 10 at American Family Insurance Amphitheater, Summerfest Grounds in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; July 12 at Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion in Rogers, Arkansas; July 15 at Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas, Texas; July 16 at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Woodlands, Texas. Doctors have recommended that Mr. Santana gets rest to recuperate fully.”

He added:

“Carlos is doing well and is anxious to be back on stage soon. He needs rest. Santana profoundly regrets these postponements of his upcoming performances, but his health is our number one concern. He is looking forward to seeing all of his fans very soon.”

Currently, Santana is resting and taking time to look after himself so he can return to the stage to perform once again and continue his ‘Miraculous Supernatural 2022 Tour.’
