Bruce Springsteen Postpones Two Shows Due To His Illness

An announcement is made on Bruce Springsteen’s Twitter page that he won’t be able to participate in the concerts that were supposed to take place on the 16th and the 18th of August in Philadelphia. The tweet wrote:
“Due to Bruce Springsteen having been taken ill, his concerts with The E Street Band at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia on August 16 and 18 have been postponed.
We are working on rescheduling the dates so please hold on to your tickets as they will be valid for the rescheduled shows.”
This is the third time the Boss postponing an event. One of E Street Band’s concerts in March was postponed due to illness, and no further explanation was made. In April, both Bruce and Patti Scialfa got COVID and missed the inaugural American Music Honors awards show, a fundraiser for the Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music at Monmouth University.
‘Springsteen and E Street Band 2023 Tour’ is the first time they toured together since 2017. Springsteen and E Street Band initially planned to embark the tour in 2020, yet it was postponed to 2023 due to pandemic. Their tour is planned to end on December 12, 2023.
