Brian May Wept Tears Of Joy After The Inauguration Of Joe Biden

Queen guitarist Brian May shared a post on his official Instagram page expressing his excitement and happiness about the inauguration of Joe Biden by stating that he cried tears of joy in front of the TV while watching the ceremony.

As many of you know, the inauguration of Joe Biden as the 46th president of the United States took place on January 20, 2021, noting the celebration of Joe Biden as president and Kamala Harris as vice president.

The inaugural ceremony took place on the West Front of the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C., and was the 59th presidential inauguration in the United States. Harris took the vice-presidential oath of office which followed by Biden taking the presidential oath of office.

Since Joe Biden’s victory had a bumpy road due to the fact that former President Donald Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 United States presidential election, which incited a storming of the Capitol, those who support Biden had the ultimate joy during the inaugural ceremony.

Apparently, Brian May is one of those people as he shared a post on his official Instagram page revealing that despite the fact that he’s far away from the United States, he cheered, applauded, and cried tears of joy as he watched the ceremony.

In addition to this, May stated that Joe Biden stands as democracy, honesty, unity, and truth all of which were close to vanishing before Biden, according to May, and now that he’s the 46th president of the United States, there is hope and big dreams.

Here is what May said:

“Congratulations PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN YES !!! We may be 5,000 miles away, but, in front of our TV’s we clapped, we cheered and we wept tears of joy. Democracy, decency, unity, truth… all have come close to death in the past few years. Now there is hope. Big hope – big dreams. Congratulations dear AMERICA and welcome back. You have probably saved the world too. Bri.”
