Brian May recently responded to Adam Lambert’s gratitude for Queen by sharing a clip from the singer’s latest sit-down with BBC on Instagram. The guitarist expressed how pleased he was to have met Adam and encouraged his audience to check out the vocalist’s latest album.

Lambert had previously hinted that he wasn’t done with Queen, signaling the fans would see more of their collab in the future. Still, he didn’t reveal much about what might be in the store for him and the iconic band, preferring to talk about his most recent record, ‘High Drama,’ and solo touring.

However, Adam isn’t one to hold back whenever he needs to appreciate Queen, so when the singer was asked who he would write a letter of appreciation to show his ‘thank you’s, he quickly pointed at Brian May and Roger Taylor. Lambert then discussed how Queen’s invitation changed his life as he had the chance to tour worldwide and perform numerous iconic rock anthems for every show.

The singer on writing a letter of appreciation and his gratitude for Queen:

“I actually would want to write to both Brian May and Roger Taylor from Queen. Because without them offering me this job over ten years ago, I don’t think my life would be the same! I mean, I’ve gotten to travel everywhere; I’ve got to perform the most amazing pieces of music for audiences all around the world. I’m so grateful and so humbled by their confidence in me. It’s been incredible.”

Upon seeing the video, May shared Lambert’s words, stating he felt grateful for crossing paths with the singer. The guitar hero then discussed how Adam made them feel younger with his eccentric personality and appreciated his vocals. It was evident that both sides shared feelings of gratitude as Brian supported the vocalist by encouraging anyone to check out his solo album.

The guitarist’s words on Lambert’s gratitude:

“I’m so grateful this young man came into my life. Unbidden and unpredictable, he has kept us all young. That voice, though? Ouch! More amazing than ever. Check [out] his new album, ‘High Drama.’ Go, Adam!”

As much as Lambert is grateful to Brian and Roger for recruiting him to Queen, it seems that May also shared similar feelings, appreciating the singer’s eccentric stage personality and impressive vocals, encouraging anyone to check out Lambert’s most recent album.
