You might remember that Poison’s Bret Michaels had decided to take a break from touring. Well, he is back.

The rocker shared a new video on his Instagram account explaining his upcoming shows with the Mötley Crüe rocker Vince Neil. He explained:

“Thursday, September 19. Yaamava Theater, Southern California. We’re gonna be in Highland, it’s my first time ever there, along with my good best friend Vince Neil. We are bringing you nothing but Mötley Crüe, and Poison mega hits, all killer, no filler. It is gonna rock your world. Vince and myself this is the first time back together since the Stadium Tour, and I’m gonna tell you right now, we are friends, we’re fired up and we’re ready to rock your world.

Why Michaels Took A Break?

After wrapping up ‘The Stadium Tour’ in 2022, Michaels jumped right into his ‘Parti-Gras’ festivals in 2023 without taking any breaks. Now, he’s keeping it going with the 2024 edition, labeled ‘Parti-Gras 2.0.’ However, it seems like there won’t be any more shows after next year. The rocker mentioned:

“I’ve always stated that music is a universal language that is meant to unite us, excite us and never divide us. It is a soundtrack to our everyday lives and I truly look forward to giving every bit of energy I’ve got in 2024 and leave it all up there on the stage every night. However, in 2025, in light of some recent medical results and setbacks, and with much discussion and real advice from my doctors and family, I will be taking most, if not all, of 2025 off, except for a few select dates with both the Bret Michaels Band and possibly all-original Poison. I truly need to recharge the batteries and get a good, much-needed physical tuneup.”

Even though he recently mentioned there wouldn’t be more shows after next year, in a previous interview, the Poison rocker had said that he and the band were planning a stadium tour for 2025.
