Bon Jovi recently shared rehearsal footage that addresses rumors about drummer Tico Torres leaving the band. The video was posted on X (formerly Twitter).

The band posted the rehearsal video as they prepare for their upcoming tour.

The band said in the caption of their rehearsal video, “Getting ready for the road.”

Torres is clearly visible in the footage. This comes months after speculation emerged about the drummer’s potential departure from the iconic rock group.

Torres previously addressed these exit rumors directly in a statement to fans.

“Hi, everybody. Tico Torres from Bon Jovi here,” he said. “I’m here to dispel a lot of rumors that I’ve read, people calling me up, saying, ‘Did you retire from music, from the band?’ Well, no. I have no idea how this stuff starts.”

The drummer emphasized his continued commitment to the band and music in general.

“Musicians don’t retire, especially me,” Torres continued. “The boys and I, Jon [Bon Jovi] and everybody, we’re still making music. I mean, the best we’ve ever been.”

The rehearsal video serves as visual confirmation of Torres’ ongoing involvement with the band as they prepare for their tour.

The upcoming tour holds special significance for the band as it marks their return to major touring after a challenging period. The Bob Rocks reported that this will be their first major tour since Jon Bon Jovi’s 2022 vocal cord surgery. This makes Torres’ presence even more crucial for the band’s comeback.

The tour, officially named “The Forever Tour,” includes several high-profile venues and dates. Apple Music confirmed that the band will perform at Madison Square Garden on July 19, 2026. This appears to be part of a residency at the iconic New York venue.

The international leg of the tour will take the band across the Atlantic for their first European shows in years. Hospitality Centre noted that the rock icons are scheduled to play Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on August 28, 2026. They will follow this with a performance at Wembley Stadium in London on September 4, 2026.

Torres joined Bon Jovi as a founding member in 1983. He has been an integral part of the band’s success for over four decades. His continued presence ensures the classic Bon Jovi sound remains intact as they embark on what could be one of their most significant tours in recent years.
