Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker recently shared a couple of posts to give some updates about his current health condition after being hospitalized on his official Twitter account. The musician explained what happened to him by expressing gratitude for his treatment.

Barker shocked everyone that loved him after he wrote ‘God save me’ on his Twitter, and his daughter Alabama shared a TikTok post when the famous musician was lying in a hospital bed. The young girl asked for the followers’ prayers after becoming worried and sad about her father’s situation. It was so hard to see her father like that, and Alabama decided to delete the photo probably because of privacy concerns.

Shortly after the hospitalization and Barker and his wife Kourtney Kardashian’s silence, a resource close to the family spoke to TMZ. It stated that his condition was inflammation of the pancreas, causing intense nausea, stomach pain, and vomiting. Kardashian took Barker to West Hills Hospital, where they sent him to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles due to his suffering.

Finally, the drummer confirmed the news and revealed that he had an endoscopy before feeling extreme pain and had to go to the hospital. Barker learned that a critical pancreatic drainage tube was damaged during the operation, causing life-threatening pancreatitis. He comforted his friends and fans by highlighting that he was getting better thanks to the doctors who cared for him.

Travis Barker’s tweets read:

“I went in for an endoscopy Monday feeling great. But After dinner, I developed excruciating pain and have been hospitalized ever since. During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed right in a sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube. This resulted in severe life-threatening pancreatitis. I am so very, very grateful for the intensive treatment. I am currently much better.”
