Blink-182’s Travis Barker Has Been Hospitalized, His Daughter Asked For Fans’ Prayers

Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker has been hospitalized, as his daughter, Alabama, revealed on social media. Barker’s daughter asked his fans to pray for him.

Travis Barker has been an important figure in rock and hip hop. Besides being a successful drummer of Blink-182, he has also contributed to hip-hop musicians’ works. He founded the bands +44 and Box Car Racer and played with Antemasque and Goldfinger. Rolling Stone magazine listed the musician among the greatest drummers of all time.

Barker became a part of Blink-182’s mainstream success with the band’s third album ‘Enemy of the State,’ released in 1999. He contributed to the album’s hit singles like ‘All the Small Things’ and ‘Adam’s Song.’ His success with the band continued with the following records. The 2001 release ‘Take Off Your Pants and Jacket’ debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.

The Blink-182 musician has also worked on his solo career besides the band. Barker released his solo debut album ‘Give the Drummer Some‘ in 2010. He produced it himself, along with notable names like Corey Taylor, Steve Aoki, and Transplants. His most recent work was with Avril Lavigne, and he was the producer of her 2022 album ‘Love Sux.’ Barker also collaborated with Machine Gun Kelly for Lavigne’s album.

Unfortunately, it was reported that the Blink-182 drummer has recently been hospitalized for unknown reasons. Barker shared a tweet in the previous days praying to God to save him, which was unclear whether it was related to his current condition. It was reported on Twitter that Barker’s daughter Alabama recently called out to the fans on her social media to pray for her father.

Travis Barker wrote on TW:

“God save me.”
